New minimum wage rates across several CA cities and counties are effective July 1, 2022. Employers must take action now to be in compliance:
· Conduct an Internal Audit. Conduct an audit of your current employees and determine if you need to increase the hourly wage for any of your employees.
· HRIS/Payroll: Don’t assume your payroll provider will make these updates on your behalf; contact your payroll service and notify them if increases are applicable to your employees.
